STATE CHAMPIONS!!!

LCS Football & Volleyball Teams WIN at State Tournament!

This Thursday and Friday our teams competed in the State Tournament in Starke, Florida, and we came away victorious! Our teams respresented our school and our Lord well.

In the football championship game, Liberty beat Harvest by a score of 41-32. It was a close, hard fought game. Down by 2 midway through fourth quarter the boys came up with a clutch touchdown and 2 point conversion giving us a 6 point lead. On the next possession, the game was sealed with a 30 yard field goal.

The volleyball championship was also a close one. We surged ahead in the match by winning the first game, but then Harvest came back and took games 2 and 3, forcing our girls to rally from beind. In the end, our girls won the match 3-2.

And so, we celebrate our teams! Please congratulate them when you see them!
